아이오나 콜럼바 대학 소개
2014년에 아이오나 콜럼바 대학 (ICC)은 호주 정부가 처음으로 한인 사회에 인가한 한국말과 영어로 교육하는 신학대학 교육 기관입니다.
호주정부의 교육 법(National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011)에 의하여 교육인정 등록 번호 RTO no. 41031과 유학생 교육 승인 등록 번호 CRICOS no. 03411A를 승인 받고 호주문교성의 교육정책에 준하는 호주교육을 실시합니다.
아이오나 대학은 이상택 목사/박사에 의하여 설립 되였으며 진리, 선교, 섬김, 기도를 학교 이념으로 가지며 신학, 선교, 목회, 평신도 지도자훈련 및 교회를 섬김을 위하여 세워진 교육 기관입니다. 주 20 시간 학교수업을 가지며 지역교회와의 유대 관계을 가지고 학생들은 교회에 참석하여 교회의 목사님의 지도하에 목회 실습 (fieldwork training) 을 수업과정의 일부분으로 하고있읍니다.

Iona Columba College is a registered training organisation (RTO code 41031 / CRICOS provider code 03411A). Registered training organisations (RTOs) are training providers registered by Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) to deliver vocational education and training (VET) services. RTOs are recognised as providers of quality-assured and nationally recognised training and qualifications.
Name of “Iona Columba College”
Iona is a small island off the western coast of Scotland, where St Columba began his mission to Scotland. Iona has recently become a significant Centre of Christian life in the daily lives of people from different church backgrounds and across cultures. Rev. Dr Sang Taek Lee (the founder of this College) visited the Isle of Iona and explored the Celtic monastery while researching the role of the church in modern society and it was here that he was inspired to name the college Iona Columba College based on the spirit of prayer, study and service.
The vision of Iona Columba College is to educate people to be good Christians and to be good citizens in Australia and to serve the Kingdom of God and the people of the world inspired by Christian values. We commit to Jesus’ ministry to build up a society of peace, justice, reconciliation, service, spirituality and living together through theological education. Our desire is to help you achieve your dream and vision through the education provided by Iona Columba College.
ICC’s purpose is to produce Christ-following disciples who create and serve God’s church, and evangelise and change the world through Christian values. ICC educates people to prepare for their vocation and to further develop their knowledge and ability so that they can serve this world as God’s church leaders.
ICC has a unique ministry and theology course which aims to:
•equip people for leadership
•to train people to serve the church and
•prepare people to be sent out into the world.
ICC gives an opportunity to all people to learn regardless of religion, culture, race or gender. They give priority to the dignity of people and values of personality rather than the monetary desires of modern society. Iona Columba College promotes an international curriculum and support for student diversity including teaching for both international students and national students.
We want to educate the people of the Korean community in Australia, the Korean Diaspora in the world and anyone who wants to join us and learn and develop their future.
