상담 목회 사역과정은 3년 6개월 과정입니다. 이과정은 2년 간 17개의 상담학과목을 수업하게되며 채플린과정은 1년 6개월동안 13과목 을 수업하게됩니다. 채플린과정은 상담 및 신학 과정를 마친분들이 기관목회 즉 병원, 양로원 및 복지 분야에서 목회 혹은 섬김의 사역 (carer) 을 하실분들을 위하여 만들어진 과정 입니다.

상담 목회 사역 과정 (counselling and chaplaincy program)은 목회와 신학을 마친분들 (3년 6개월) 께서 계속해서3년6개월을 더 배울수 있읍니다. 이경우는 이민국에 비자연장 신청을 하셔야 될것입니다. 그러므로 아이오나 콜럼바 대학에 오셔서 수업하시는 분들에게는 7년동안 비자을 받고 호주에 머믈러 수업을 받으실수 있는 기회을 가질수 있읍니다.

상담 목회 사역 혹은 목회와 신학 어느것이든 먼저 신청하여 공부 할수 있지만 아이오나 콜럼바대학은 “ 목회와 신학”을 먼저 공부하기를 추천해 드립니다.
학생들의 자주 하는 질문은: “두 가지 과정을 동시에 이민국에 신청할수 있읍니까?” 라는 질문입니다.

이민국 규정 ASQA – VET 과정에서 수업을 원하는 학생의경우, 비자 신청은 한차례에 5년을 넘기지 못하는 것으로 되여 있어 학생들은 2차례 에 나 누워 비자신청을 하여야 될 것입니다. 비자관계는 법무사나 유학원의 조언을 받으시기를 바랍니다.

상담과정 CHC51015 Diploma of Counselling
(CRICOS course code 0100324)

This 24 month (2 year) course is contextualised to meet the values of Christianity and reflects the role of Christian counsellors who work with clients on personal and psychological issues using established counselling modalities. They use communication, micro-counselling and interviewing skills and draw on varied counselling therapies to assist clients. At this level, the counsellor will be working in defined and supported counselling roles in established agencies rather than in independent practice. This course is a nationally recognised qualification and all units are delivered and assessed in Korean.

Minimum Entry Requirements:

Be over the age of 18.
Demonstrate good command of written and spoken Korean.
Have completed an equivalent secondary schooling level of a Higher School Certificate or can demonstrate suitable work or life experience.

Specific Requirements:

The student is a committed Christian and actively involved in a Christian community.
Students undertaking Christian Ministry courses should, in good conscience, be able to subscribe to the ICC statement of beliefs which are found in the tenets of mainstream Christianity.

채플린 과정 CHC42315 Certificate IV in Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care (CRICOS course code 0101660)

This 18 month (1 year 6 month) qualification reflects the role of chaplains and/or pastoral and spiritual care workers who provide ongoing ethical, moral and spiritual support to clients using a person-centred approach.

Workers operate within the guidelines and practices of their organisation and within the professional and ethical standards of their relevant association. The development of self-awareness and identity underpin effective work in pastoral and spiritual care and are developed over time, through professionally supervised practice and mentoring.

Work may take place in a range of contexts, including schools, community outreach and local churches in a paid or volunteer capacity. Work in these roles may also require commissioning from a recognised religious institution.

To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 100 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of units of competency.

This course is a nationally recognised qualification and all units are delivered and assessed in Korean.
