Step 1: Preparation of application form

a) Choose the course you wish to study:

b) Complete the enrolment application (입학원서 다운 받아서 신청하실것 혹은 문의 바람)

You can download the Enrolment Application form from www.iona.edu.au. Before completing the enrolment application form carefully read the pre-enrolment information so that you are fully aware of what is involved in studying in Australia.

c) Attach the requested documents as listed below with the application form (신청에 구비사항):

    • Certified true copy of your academic qualifications (must be translated into English)
    • A copy of your passport
    • A copy of your current visa (if applying in Australia)
    • Application fee (AUD $150), 등록 신청 전형료 $150 불은 반환 되지 않음

Step 2: Decision (입학허가서 받음)

a) A Letter of Offer and an International Student Acceptance Agreement

If your application is approved by Iona Columba College, you will receive a Letter of Offer and an International Student Acceptance Agreement which you need to complete and sign.
b) International Student Acceptance Agreement, payment and issue of eCoE

When ICC receives the payment as outlined in your Letter of Offer and the signed International Student Acceptance Agreement, ICC will issue an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE).
When you receive your eCoE, it should be taken to the visa section of your nearest Australian Diplomatic Mission (i.e. Consulate, High Commission or Embassy) where you can make an application for a student visa.

Student Visas can only be granted for courses that are registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).

Step 3: Student Visa Fee, OSHC and accommodation (비자받을시 이민국 사항)

a) Congratulations!

b) Overseas Students Health Cover – OSHC

As an international student studying in Australia on a student visa, you are required to obtain health insurance through the Overseas Student Health Cover for your stay in Australia for yourself and any family members that may be accompanying you to Australia

c) Homestay

Homestay accommodation provides students with an opportunity to experience life with a typical Australian family and develop their English language communication skills. Homestay is not a hotel and the Homestay host is not a servant but a person who is offering a bedroom and facilities in their home and the opportunity to experience Australian family life.

Step 4: Arrival, guidance and orientation (도착과 환영)

a) Welcome

You will be warmly welcomed by your host and an administrative officer when you arrive at Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport (SYD).
So you will need to inform us of your airline schedule before you arrive in Sydney.
b) Orientation

On the first day at ICC students attend registration and orientation and this session will cover:

    • Registration to complete the required ICC forms
    • Welcome session including meeting key ICC staff
    • Overview of life in Australia
    • Academic and general administrative matters
    • Field work requirements
    • ICC policies & requirements for satisfactory course progress
    • Student visa conditions overview
    • Grievance procedures
    • Maintaining current contact information
    • ICC student card issuance
    • ICC campus tour
    • General tour of the area for newly arrived students from overseas.

Students who do not commence on the published start date and commence by the default date will be registered and undergo orientation.

아이오나 콜럼바대학 (ICC) 입학 지원절차: 당신에게 새 꿈이 열리는 대학

유학생들을 위한 목회와 신학과 3년6개월 과정 안내

ICC는 호주에서 인정하는 한국언어로 수업하는 목회와신학 3년 6개월 제 전문 대학이다. 1년은 총 2학기 (Semester) 제로되여 있으며, 각 학기는 다시 2학기 (Term) 으로 나누어져 있다. 각각 학기는 2월, 5월, 7월, 10월에 시작한다. 입학은 매 학기 마다 가능하나 총 이수과목를 마처야수료된다. Diploma는 10과목 Certificate IV 는 9개의 학과목으로 되여있다. Diploma 과정은 호주의 신학대학 4 년제 B.Th 대학을 입학할경우 Diploma / Advanced Diploma에서 이수한 학과목중 일부는 면제 혜택도 가능하다.

첫 번째 절차: 입학요령

1. 학위선택: 우선 웹싸이트을 살펴보고 두 개의 학위 중 하나를 선택한다. 전문 자격증 학위와 (Certificate IV) 와 준학사 학위 (Diploma / Advanced Diploma)가 있다. 고등학교 졸업자는 먼저 Certificate IV 과정을 이수하고 다음에 Diploma / Advanced Diploma 과정에 입학한다. 18세 이상이되여야한다.

2. 영어수능면제 해택: ICC 대학은 호주정부에서 인가한 대학이지만 한글로 교육하므로 까다로운 영어 실력 수능 점수 을요구하지 않는다. 그러나 영어는 호주에서 일상생활의 조건이므로 ICC대학은 학생들에게 영어를 배울수있는 기회를 제공할것이다.

3. 서류조건: 입학 신청자는 입학원서와 전형료 (AUD $150 – 전형료금은 반환 않됨), 최종학교 졸업및 성적증명서, 여권사본을 갖추어 입학을 신청한다. 전형료는 반환되지 않는다.

두번째절차: 입학허가절차

1. 입학허가 수령: 입학신청 접수가 끝나면, 지원에 합격한 학생은15일 이내에 입학허가서 (Letter of Offer)와 학비 납부 조건 서약서 (Written Agreement)을 학교로부터 발급받게된다.

2. 서류제출과 예치금 납부: 위의 서류를 받은 학생은 입학허가서 (Letter of Offer)와 학비 납부 조건 서약서 (Written Agreement)에 모두 서명하고 예치금을 납부한 후, 그 서류들을 학교로 보내야한다. 이때 예치금은 전체 등록금에 약 ~25%에 해당되는 $1,275 dollars (Certificate IV) 될것이다 (입학허가 조건 서류참조).

세번째 절차: 비자 발급 의 감격

1. 비자 신청 과 비자발급의 감격: 학생이 보낸 예치금과 서류를 받은 학교는 비자신청에 필요한 입학확인서 (e-CoE)를 발행하여 학생에게 보낸다. 학생은 입학확인서 (e-CoE)와 비자발급에 필요한 서류 (호주대사관에 문의바람) 를 갖추어 호주대사관에 방문하여 비자를 신청한다.

2. 호주건강보험: 비자발급시 대사관이 요구하는 서류중 하나는 호주 건강보험서 (OSHC) 등록증이다 (Website 참조 자람).

3. 비자발급: 마침내 비자발급을 허락받았을때 당신은 벅찬 감격을 경험하게 될것이다. 이감격과 함께 당신의 꿈이 호주에서 시작될것이다.

4. 등록금 납부방법: 비자를 발급받은 학생은 출국전 한텀 (term)의 등록금 (1년 학비의 1/4)을 납부해야한다. ICC 는 텀별로 등록금을 분할하여 납부할수있는 혜택을 제공한다. 단, 학생은 입학시 서명한 계약서에 따라 텀 (term)이 시작하기 전에 학비를 납부해야 하며, 계약이 이행되지 않으면 비자가 이민국에 의하여 만료된다.

네번째 절차: 숙소계약, 출국수속 그리고 도착후 학교 오리엔테이션

1. 숙소 계약: 비자 발급을 받은 학생은 출국에 필요한 항공권 구입 및 숙소를 구입한다. ICC는 숙소 구입을 위하여 도움을 줄 수 있다 (별도 문의 바람).

2. 환영: 출국조건을 모두 갖춘후 시드니공항에 도착하면 학교 혹은 숙소 주인이 공항에서 당신을 반갑게 환영할 것이다. Iona Columba College 와 함께 당신의 꿈을 실현시키기 위한 인생의 새로운 도약이 시작될 것이다.

3. 학교 오리엔테이션: 매년 첫 학기의 첫 주에는 학교의 오리엔테이션과 Conference (수련회)가 열린다. 이 기간을 통하여 학생은 새로운 학우들을 만나고 학교생활을 배우며 호주의 문화와 생활을 배우는 유익을 맛보게 될 것이다. 또한 학생들은 영적으로 재충전의 기회가되여 비전을 실현할 수 있는 용기와 힘을 얻게 될 것이다.
